Introducing the MedStart CEO Roundtable

A private, operator-led forum for life science founders and C-suite leaders in the Sacramento region

MedStart is excited to launch the CEO Roundtable, a new program designed exclusively for C-level executives of medical and life science startups. This bi-monthly gathering provides an opportunity for founders and senior leaders to connect, share challenges, and exchange strategies for navigating the unique complexities of building and scaling companies in the healthcare space.

What you’ll get

  • Candid, confidential peer counsel on fundraising, regulatory/clinical milestones, hiring, commercialization, strategy, operations and leadership.

  • Shared Learning – Insights from guest speakers and experienced leaders who have successfully built and exited medical companies.

  • Practical takeaways - templates, checklists, strategies and other tools you’ll actually use.

  • Real relationships with people solving the same problems and who understand your journey.

Who’s in the room

CEOs, founders, and C-level leaders (COO/CTO/CFO) of medical & life science startups.

How it works

  • Frequency: Every other month (90 min)

  • Structure: Each session combines a featured guest or discussion leader with facilitated roundtables where participants share perspectives and best practices.

  • Size: 12–16 leaders. Free to attend; application required to preserve quality.
